Hilton Grand Vacations has been a leader in vacation ownership since 1992. The company offers an upscale collection of properties in premier destinations across the United States, Europe, and the Asia Pacific.
Challenge
After 25 years of redefining vacation ownership, Hilton Grand Vacations needed a digital experience that matched the quality of its properties. The team wanted a more engaging, personalized, and seamless online journey for customers exploring vacation ownership. The platform also needed to scale for high traffic, support future growth, and connect key systems for customer relationship management, lead generation, and digital asset management.
Solution
Hilton Grand Vacations partnered with XCentium on a multi-phased website transformation powered by Sitecore. The new platform was designed to give HGV more flexibility, stronger personalization, and a more connected digital foundation.
XCentium implemented Sitecore Experience Database, or xDB, and GeoIP to tailor content and experiences based on user behavior and location. The team also integrated Google Analytics, Google Maps, and Google Tag Manager to improve insights and support richer user interactions.
To support business workflows, XCentium integrated custom Salesforce forms and Aprimo for lead generation, customer support, and digital asset management. Quality leads were validated through the HGV customer relationship management system and Axiom Datastore. Secure payment processing was supported through Elavon Secure Payment Portal. Azure Pipelines helped provide a reliable and scalable cloud hosting process.
Outcomes
After launch, HGV had a modern website that made it easier for customers to explore and purchase vacation packages online. XCentium also redesigned two critical business workflows: a simplified three-step checkout and a flexible retargeting engine for users who abandoned their purchase journey.
The new site was optimized for search with tagging, schema, breadcrumbs, Open Graph support, and related improvements. With xDB customization rules, the platform improved the viability of online vacation package sales while helping the HGV team spend less time, money, and resources.
